I design systems end to end: the application, the infrastructure and the automation around them. Built to run for years and for a team to keep evolving.
No technology for its own sake. First it has to be clear what the system should really improve.
The solution has to stay readable and operable a year from now, not just today.
In small steps, so results show early and change stays cheap.
After release I watch performance, incidents and feedback and set priorities from them.
I got into IT early. Around age 15 I started with PC building, networks and school projects.
Professionally, I moved from help desk and onsite technician roles to server administration, virtualization, software engineering, DevOps and team leadership.
What I enjoy most is designing systems end to end: applications, infrastructure, processes and automation that make sense both technically and for the business.
